Stories and ephemeral snaps shared on Picxera automatically expire and disappear from public view after 24 hours. We do not store permanent public backups of expired ephemeral content on our servers.
2. Camera, Microphone & Storage Permissions
Our app requests camera access strictly to capture photos and record video stories. Microphone permission is used solely when recording ambient video audio, and photo library access is invoked only when you choose to import or save media.
3. Information We Collect
We collect account registration details (username, email address, password hash), uploaded media content, captions, direct message data, and basic device diagnostic metrics to ensure stable app performance.
4. On-Device Neural AI Processing
Picxera utilizes advanced on-device Neural Processing Units (NPUs) for real-time filter rendering and facial lighting adjustments, ensuring your raw biometric camera feeds remain processed locally on your phone.
5. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
Picxera operates on a transparent creator subscription and digital asset model. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal photos, messages, or identifying profile data to third-party advertisers.
6. End-to-End Encrypted Direct Messages
Direct messages and media shared privately between creator circles employ robust encryption protocols, ensuring that your private conversations remain strictly confidential between participants.
7. Cookies & Analytics Tracking
Our website and app web-views use minimal functional cookies and anonymized analytics to remember your theme preferences (Dark/Light mode login state) and analyze traffic flow to prevent server abuse.
8. Account Deletion & Right to Forget
You retain full sovereignty over your digital footprint. You can request the permanent deletion of your Picxera account and all associated media archives anytime via Settings > Privacy > Delete Account or by contacting privacy@picxera.app.
9. Children’s Privacy Protection
Picxera is strictly intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If discovered, such accounts are promptly purged from our database.
